One such digital sensation is the 22 years old Ahsaas Channa, a television and film actress who has been recently brought into the limelight again for her work on digital platforms like YouTube and other OTT platforms.

Background

Ahsaas Channa was born in Jalandhar, Punjab, on 5th August 1999 to Iqbal Bahadur Singh Channa and Kulbir Balderson and is a Sikh by religion. Her father is a Punjabi film producer, while her mother herself is a television actress. Ahsaas also has an elder sister whose identity is not known. She currently lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She attended Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan A. H. Wadia High School in Mumbai.

Professional Career

Ahsaas Channa has always been enthusiastic about acting since a very young age. Ahsaas Channa was four years of age when she first debuted as a child artist in the Hindi movie ‘Vastu Shashtra’ (2004). She featured yet again in her second movie as a child artist, this time portraying a boy’s character in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. She reprised her male character in films like ‘My Friend Ganesha,’ ‘Aryan,’ and ‘Phoonk.’

In 2008, she made her television debut in the series ‘Kasamh Se’ and went to act in several popular television shows like ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’ and acted in MTV shows like ‘Fanaah’ and ‘Big F’, ‘Webbed’ etc. She was not very active between the years 2014-18 but rose to prominence again with the recent hits like ‘Kota Factory’ (seasons 1&2) and ‘The Interns’ (s 1&2). She had gained much fame through her roles in TVF’s ‘Girl’s Hostel’ that she was popularly called the face of TVF, and she is gratefully contented for the love that she has been showered by the audience and considers TVF to be her “second family.”

While coming out as one confident Leo, she has her fair share of insecurities like losing her hold on her stardom and glam and losing her mother, most of all, whom she very dearly loves. From being a child actor to a glam diva who is also very viral for her reels and TikTok, Ahsaas Channa has come a long way at such a young age, with many more such moving shows like ‘Kota Factory’ still left to be offered.
